Yoga & Kindness Help Improve Your Self Esteem & Body Image
As a follow-up to last week’s article about body image, check out this article. As it turns out, many are embracing the attitude that weight and body fat do not dictate how we feel or should feel about ourselves.
The important thing to remember is to embrace healthy decision-making, by being good to ourselves and others. One of my favorite things about practicing yoga is that it is a personal practice. I move at my own pace. As my good friend, Josh Thamm, likes to say, there is “No judgment. No ego.” Every practice session is different from the one before it, and I enjoy focusing on embracing the moment.
It is my hope that as you read this and other articles about body image, you are reminded that you are loved. Be good to yourself and I’ll see you your mat soon!
